My quarantine days
My Quarantine days
“Life is what happens when you are busy making other plans”- John lennon
Just like Mr.John said, corona virus had its plans in 2020 , screwing up ours of course!!
But at the same time looking at the brighter side of this situation , I find peace and solace thinking that I at least have a roof on my head and my parents to live with.
I find solace thinking that life is just so temporary, ever changing and damn unpredictable!!
But rightly said by “gyaani purush” again, “ The more unpredictable the world is , the more we rely on predictions”
Now,
I know a lot of youtube videos already fill the gap of “pados vali aunty” and us by giving tons of advice on how to be productive in these quarantine days!
Well , I am not going to interfere in you and your pados vali aunty’s sacred relationship therefore I will stick to Chai and Me-time therapy that is absolutely underrated and ignored due to sharma ji ka beta’s huge life achievement lectures!!!
Anyway!
I just started something that I wont call a new thought because I have given it a 1000 times “I think I should do this” shot in my life but actually could never do it for real.(Sad)
A cup of chai, Me ,My diary and My thoughts!!
I open my all time favorite Forest app and set a timer of say 30 min or sometimes 45 mins and allow the sound of rains(Ahh peaceful!!) to reach my ears and just THINK.
Think about my life(sounds extra Bollywood type but try and give it a shot!!)
Think about pain, about failures ,about happiness ,about how far I have reached ,about strength that I never thought I had ,about a lot of other ups and downs!
I pick my pen and write my journal. (writing journal after a deep thinking is itself a kind of meditation that can never be described in words!)
I also have taken a break from my social media accounts because believe me cooking SUJI KA HALVA and not having the stress to click a goody-yummy picture and upload it on Instagram gives another level taste enhancement to it!!!
Anyway jokes apart!
I have found a new world where,
I am less anxious and more aware
Less sad and more happy
Less jealous and more grateful
A world without social media………….A world worth living in!!!!!
